Once and for all times: the compilations released on Dhyana-records are great. They offer a big variety of styles and artists, coming from all over the place, producing great music in their homes and almost no one will ever hear them. Which is a pity. Because they are way more interesting and worth mentioning than the next majorlabel-hyped star. So, if you are interested in some new music, if you have an open mind and open ears, if you have no prejudices against home-recorded drum'n'bass from Turkey (calls of the muezzin included) or german-song weirdo-folk-pop or electronic avantgarde-tracks from a japanese artists using simulated birdsounds, then you should definitley check these compilations out. Please, don't mistake them for novelty-collections, this is the future of music. When the big labels crumble and there is no more Britney Spears, all you'll get to listen to is home-made music by people who feel a need to express themselves via music (and know that they won't ever get rich that way).
